In 2024/2025, we introduced a new line of products, including high power density Flexpro servo drives, harmonic actuators, high force electric linear actuators, and slotless brushless DC motors, catering to industry demands for efficiency, increased output, and cost reduction. We have also launched innovative MMF3 linear motors, in which the platen houses no rare earth magnets, enabling cost savings for long stroke applications and supporting the move towards a more ‘Net Zero’ transition.

Motion Control Products are the official distributor for some world’s leading encoder manufacturers: Netzer, KappaSense, Bogen, CUI Devices and US Digital. Among these five, our complete ranges cover the both rotary and linear encoder forms using the latest generation technologies. Electric Encoders™ from Netzer: Our newly launched Electric Encoders™ from Netzer are a range of absolute-position, rotary electric encoders, featuring with high accuracy, low profile, hollow shaft geometry, and remarkable low weight and inertia. The encoder ranges have OD size from 16mm to 130mm). Typical applications cover from harsh environment and defense, industrial automation, collaborative and medical robotics through unmanned vehicles and aerospace to special low orbit and deep space missions. AMT capacitive encoders from CUI Devices: Our AMT capacitive encoders are a range of rugged, high-accuracy modular encoders available in incremental, absolute and commutation versions. Using capacitive sensing technology, the AMT series encoders are not easily contaminated by dirt, dust and oil that typically plague encoders in industrial environments. By using a semiconductor instead of an LED, our AMT modular encoders can avoid LED burn-out issue. With a range of resolutions (some models are programmable via AMT Viewpoint™ GUI), all AMT capacitive encoder ranges are also available as a Kit. Combined with an operating temperature range from -40°C up to 125°C, high accuracy, simple assembly, and low current draw, AMT modular encoders provide an ideal solution for industrial, automation, robotics, and renewable energy applications. BOGEN’s linear magnetic scales: LMS series linear magnetic scales from BOGEN in Germany ensure highly reliable and accurate results up to 3 microns wherever positions and motions have to be measured. They are resistant against humidity, contamination, temperature fluctuations and vibrations and therefore ideal for use in harsh industrial environment.

Gears and variators

Motion Control Products supply a range of different types of gearboxes which are commonly found in automation applications. Typically, these types would include – Planetary gearbox Strain Wave (Harmonic) gearbox Hollow shaft helical gearbox Right Angle Bevel gearbox Worm wheel gearbox The type of gearbox and the physical arrangement of the gears selected within the housing is usually determined by the speed and torque required as well as the service factor (or characteristics of use) and the preferred envelope size. The gearbox will be selected to consideration of low backlash, low noise, efficiency, dimension and service life expectation. All gearboxes can be supplied with either brushed, brushless or stepper motors fitted to suit the desired functionality.

For multi-axis motion needs, Motion Control Products offer an extensive range of linear stages and miniature stages, in a various formats to suit our customer requirements. These can be supplied either as a full system, i.e.: complete with drives, controller, granite or steel baseplate with welded support frame or as a standalone unit to match customer's requirements. Typical applications range from laser cutting, electronic manufacturing, assembly to vision systems and industrial automation.

Motion Control Products introduces its new HMI (Human Machine Interface) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) for motion control on stepper drivers, servo drives and brushless servos. Green series HMI is fully featured Colour LCD touch screen size of 7" with industrial grade CPU, 800MHz and 128M DDR3.

Precision drives and motion control

Motion Control Products has one of the largest ranges drives (stepper drives and servo drives), either in digital format or analogue format to suit a host of applications. They are supplied in stand alone, PCB mounted or panel mount with a selection of bus protocols. They can be also simply supplied with control inputs for analogue or step and direction inputs. With output powers from less than 100W to up to 110kW, the servo drives can power brushed and brushless motors and AC / DC motors with a host of feedback devices including tacho, encoder, resolver or armature voltage feedback. Our most versatile servo drive ranges can meet most of the demanding industrial applications in speed loop, torque loop or position loop formats. popular communication protocols / feedbacks are RS232 / 485, CANOpen, EtherNET/IP, EtherCAT, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus etc.

Robotics

With easy to use set up control via teach pendants, collaborative robots can provide an immediate and flexible input to improve production. Guaranteed real-time communication between humans, robots, factory logistics and products is a fundamental prerequisite of the Industry 4.0 concept. There are six Elfin "cobots" (collaborative robot) models in the series. They have a pay load of 3kgs (E3 model), 3.5kgs (E5-L model), 5kgs (E5 model), 8kgs (E10-Lmodel Model), 10Kgs (E10 model) and 15kgs (E15 model) to ensure that there is a product offering for a wide range of applications. The product is compact, is easy to programme and offers the user a fast set up solution.
